Good food, excellent prices, kitschy decor. Now if they only had craft baja beers, it would be perfect.
I had the chicken enchiladas, my husband the crab burritos (they didn't have lobster this time of year), my son the chicken tacos and my daughter the garlic shrimp, and everything was delicious! As were the margaritas! And the Indio beer isn't too bad either. We'd prefer a craft IPA, but hey, this place is a gem regardless! -

1/2 restaurant 1/2 history museum to the Baja 1000. This is where the pavement used to end and was a checkpoint since the first Baja 1000 in 1967. Lunch was ok but the breakfast was better.

Awesome Baja 1000 spot. Memorabilia hanging everywhere. Looks like a pretty standard meeting spot to ride the area. Food was outstanding, fresh and affordable. Lobster everything! Unique mini burritos, 3 of them filled with lobster. And super fresh table side guacamole.

Love this spot! Good food and I love how you can feel the history of the Baja 1000. We have a friend who told us stories about Mama Espinoza and the good ole' days so it was cool to see it in person.
